Referee of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Hunan Science and Technology Department, Reviewer of "IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing", "IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing" and "Computerized Tomography Theory and Applications". He is mainly engaged in the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) simulation and migration imaging, near-surface geophysical data analysis and Non-destructive testing theory for geophysical exploration. At present, he is undertaking five research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) under Grant 41704128, Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province under Grant 2018JJ3636, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation under Grant 2018M632993, Scientific Research of Central Universities under Grant 2014ZTS048, and China Railway Corporation Science and Technology Plan under Grant 2014-005-B. He has authored more than 20 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, such as "IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing", "IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing", "Scientific Reports", "Construction and Building Materials" and "Journal of Geophysics". Also he holds two patents and two softwares copyright in the Ground Penetrating Radar applications.
