Fabricate nanopores via electron beam in inorganic ultra-thin films so that nanopore sensors can be adapted to something beyond DNA sequencing. We utilize the integration of ufluicic system and nanopore sensor toegther with proper hardware and software combination to realize protein sequencing - read the primary structure of protein molecules. We aim to detect variants such as amino acid substitution and post-translational modification in peptide chains at single residue resolution.
