1999年毕业于中南大学，获工程测量学士学位；2004年获中南大学大地测量与测量工程硕士学位、2007年获武汉大学和中南大学联合培养地理信息系统博士学位，2007至今，在中南大学工作，从事遥感图像处理、灾害监测、农业大数据挖掘和GIS工程应用等方面的研究。2014年9月-2015年9月到加拿大瑞尔森大学访学，主要从事于图像超分辨率重建和农业大数据挖掘方面的研究。在国内外学术会议、期刊上发表研究论文40多篇，其中SCI收录7篇，同时担任国际SCI期刊Sensors、Applied Optics等期刊审稿人。主持国家自然基金、973项目子课题和863项目子课题各一项，目前已获专利4项,软件著作权1项
