Chenjie Gong, PhD
Biography
Chenjie Gong is a tenure-tracked assistant professor at Central South University (CSU). He obtained his BEng and PhD from Tongji University in Shanghai. He was visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 2016-2018. He has published more than 10 journal and conference papers. His current research activities are Performance-based design methodology of precast underground structures, and Infrastructure construction and maintenance. He serves as a peer reviewer for prestigious journals including Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology, Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, Construction and Building Materials, etc.
