刘超，湖南涟源人，副教授，硕士生导师，2013年本科毕业于中国地质大学（武汉），2018年12月中国科学院长春应用化学研究所博士毕业，2019年3月进入中南大学化学化工学院工作，获中南大学科研启动项目（80万元）经费支持。作为课题负责人主持国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金等课题2项，获得中南大学创新驱动计划项目支持，指导大学生创新创业训练项目三项，研究生自由探索创新项目两项，指导研究生获得国家奖学金一人次。目前以第一作者和通讯作者身份在Angewandte Chemie International Edition、Chemical Science、Chemical Communication（7篇）、Chem. Eur.-J. (3篇)、Inorganic chemistry（11篇）等国际重要刊物上发表论文27篇（自然指数文章20篇）。博士期间主要从事高温无机固体化学、Zintl团簇、锕系功能材料等方面研究，现主要研究兴趣集中于金属氧簇、铜/银纳米团簇的设计与组装，晶态团簇基功能材料合成及其催化应用探讨。研究领域：
1）杯芳烃基金属团簇的合成、结构、组装机理与性质研究
2）功能晶体材料在CO2温室气体电催化还原、仿生光还原应用
