Dr.Yange Li is currently an Associate Professor of School of Civil Engineering, Central South University, China. Previous to her employment at Central South University, Dr. Li has received her doctor degree in Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan, in 2012, and worked in Kyushu University as a Postdoctor and Research Assistant from October, 2012 to December, 2015. She was also a Visiting Fellow to the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection, Chengdu University of Technology.
Dr.Li’s research interests mainly focus on risk management in engineering, emergency management of geohazards, the application of GIS and remote sensing technology for geo-disasters prevention and reduction. Dr. Li has undertaken several research projects funded by the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Youth Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Youth Foundation of Hunan Province, the State Key Laboratory Open Foundation of China and Japanese Environment Ministry and Academic Foundation. Dr.Li has published over 40 refereed journal papers, and 2 academic works.
