Minxue Shen, Ph.D., Professor in Xiangya School of Public Health at Central South University. Deputy Director of Department of Social Medicine and Health Management; Head of Public Health and Disease Cohort Platform, Furong Laboratory; Investigator in Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Skin Tumors and Psoriasis.
As a principal investigator, he contributed to the establishment of a large-scale prospective cohort of over 200,000 individuals from the general population. He investigated the epidemiological characteristics and disease burden of skin diseases in China, and uncovered environmental and behavioral factors, comorbidities, and preventive strategies for inflammatory skin diseases including psoriasis and eczema.

Research evidence has been incorporated into multiple clinical guidelines and expert consensuses, including the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Psoriasis (2023), Chinese Dietary Management Guidelines for Psoriasis Patients (2023), and Guidelines for the Management of Chronic Pruritus (2024).
