Teacher homepageProf. SHAN Ming is currently a Professor and Deputy Head of Department of Engineering Management, School of Civil Engineering, Central South University, China. Prior to his employment at Central South University, Dr Shan Ming worked in Department of Building, National University of Singapore, as a Research Fellow. Dr. Shan received his dual PhDs in Construction Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015 and Tongji University in 2016, respectively. He was also a Visiting Fellow to Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, The University of Auckland, from September 2015 to February 2016. Dr. Shan’s research is mainly concentrated in professional ethics in construction, organizational issues in megaprojects, construction productivity, and sustainable construction management. Dr. Shan has participated in several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Singapore Economic Development Board. Prof. Shan has produced nearly 80 research outputs in refereed journal papers, international refereed conference papers, and consultancy reports.
