Novel triclinic LiV(PO4)0.9F1.3, characterized as crystal lattice expansion, ultrafine primary particle size and unifirm carbon coating, was designed and fabricated through regulating PO4/F ratio, and exhibited excellent electrochemical performance maintaining 105 mAh g-1 at 50 C and 92.9% of capacity retention after 500 cycles at 10 C due to superior structural stability, great charge transfer property, enhanced electronic conductivity and fast Li+ diffusion kinetics.
