Description of Publication:Women education thoughts in modern times, an overlapping research area among the history of education thoughts , women history and society history, has its unique research value in recent years and also helps understand the relationship between women rights movement and national emancipation campaign.It is even the base to interpret women education systematization.This paper, by observing Zhounan Women School(1905-1938), gains insights into its twisting development and complicated problems it encountered during the transferring period of Chinese modern society in Hunan as well as in the society of the modern times, thus fully analyzing women education thoughts trend, gender culture and the relationship between social concepts and women subject identity construction and displaying the change process of women education thoughts in modern times by embedding Zhounan Women School in the whole history in modern China.
