Peking University Organic Chemistry Doctoral Degree in Science Supervisors:Prof. Zhenfeng Xi and Prof. Wen-Xiong Zhang
Baosheng Wei received his B.Sc. degree from Shandong University in 2012, and Ph.D. degree from Peking University in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Wen-Xiong Zhang and Prof. Zhenfeng Xi. His Ph.D. studies focused on the synthesis, structural elucidation, and reaction chemistry of highly reactive organocalcium compounds. In 2018, he joined the group of Prof. Paul Knochel at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as a postdoctoral fellow, where he worked on the development of new halogen-metal exchange reactions and their strategic use in organic synthesis. In 2021, he joined the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Central South University as an associate professor. His research interests center on main-group organometallic chemistry and main-group catalysis involving redox cycles. (ORCID: 0000-0002-2708-2435)
