Kang-Gen Zhou, male, was born in March 1963. He has 13 years study and working experience in Japan. He is now a distinguished professor of School of Metallurgy and Envrionment in Central South University. He is the professor of the resources and environment committee of hunan province, deputy director of the comprehensive utilization of nonferrous metals society of China nonferrous metallurgical resources professional committee. His research interests mainly focus on water pollution control engineering, including heavy metal wastewater, ammonia nitrogen wastewater, fluorine wastewater, waste leachate, and high concentration organic wastewater. He was awarded a prize of Japan's sumitomo metal industries, resources and materials to learn paper award, and outstanding young teachers in the Ministry of Education funds. He has received 6 fundings from NSFC and other national projects. He has applied for more than 30 domestic and foreign patents, and published over 120 papers.
