Personal Information
Dr. Yan Cai earned her bachelor of clinical medicine in 2000, master degree of anatomic science in 2005 and PhD in Neurobiology in 2010 at Central South University(CSU). Dr. Cai has been working as a teaching assistant from 2000-2006, a lecturer from 2006-2013 and an associate professor from 2013 in the department of human anatomy and neurobiology at CSU. Dr. Cai was a visiting scholar in the department of anatomy at the Southern llinois University from 2008-2010.
Dr. Cai’s research interests include neurodevelopment and brain aging, once funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published 9 SCI papers as the first author and was authorized 5 patents.
