邓旭,中南大学湘雅药学院副教授,博士生导师,入选湖南省杰青、湖南省卫生健康高层次人才和湖南省高校青年骨干教师培养对象,主要研究方向是基于中药来源活性成分的创新药物研究。
先后主持国家重点研发计划子课题、国家自然科学基金面上项目、科技部高端外国专家引进计划、湖南省重点研发计划等各类纵向项目10余项,以及多项企业横向合作项目。发表SCI论文60余篇,其中以第一作者/通讯作者(含共同)在Nat. Comm., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Cell Death Differ., J. Med. Chem.等高水平期刊发表SCI论文29篇,总被引1200余次(Google Scholar),H指数22;申请专利20余项(第一发明人14项),其中12项已获授权;并荣获2020年度德国Thieme Chemistry Journals Award国际学术奖和2023年度云南省自然科学二等奖1项。此外,邓旭博士还应邀担任Natural Products & Bioprospecting青年编委,以及Adv. Sci.,Theranostics, J. Med. Chem.等20余种学术期刊特邀审稿人。

Modular and scalable synthesis of nematode pheromone ascarosides: implications in eliciting plant defenses

关键字:A highly efficient and modular synthesis of nematode pheromone ascarosides was developed, which highlights a 4-step scalable synthesis of the common intermediate 10 in 23% yield from commercially available L-rhamnose by using orthoesterification/benzylation/orthoester rearrangement as the key step. Six diverse ascarosides were synthesized accordingly. Notably, biological investigations revealed that ascr#1 and ascr#18 treatment resulted in enhanced callose accumulation in Arabidopsis leaves. And ascr#18 also increased expression of defense-related genes such as PR1, PDF1.2, LOX2 and AOS, which might contribute to the enhanced plant defense responses. This study not only allows a facile access to the 1-O, 2-O, 4-O variable ascarosides, but also provides valuable insights into their bilogical activities in inducing plant defense, as well as the mode of action.
