Dr. Xinyu Fan is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Automation, Central South University. His research primarily focuses on control, optimization, sequential data prediction, and image recognition, with applications extending across rail transit traction systems, battery systems, and intelligent construction.
He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2011, 2013, and 2019, respectively. From 2016 to 2017, he was a visiting Ph.D. student at The University of Texas at Dallas. To date, Dr. Fan has published over 10 SCI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author. He holds more than 10 authorized national invention patents out of over 30 applications.
