主持"十四五"国家重点研发计划新能源汽车专项项目“基于先进移动通信的协同式智能网联汽车关键技术”(首席科学家),主持5项国家自然科学基金等20余项省部级以上课题,100余项智能交通规划设计与平台研发项目。提出了交通安全层级-时空数据结构和全贝叶斯分析方法,是交通安全规划理论与技术体系的积极开拓者,将该体系融合到智能网联环境下的交通系统分析理论。目前主要科研方向为智能网联车辆运行安全技术,研究方向:1)交通运输系统安全;2)智慧交通主动管控;3)智能网联汽车安全测试。发表SCI/SSCI论文200余篇,论文总引1万2千余次,H因子 57,JCR高被引论文15篇,授权国家发明专利40余项,培养博士研究生30余名。
