Personal Information

Weixi Jiang, male, M.D., archiater of neurosurgery, master tutor, now serves as the deputy director of Neurosurgery & the director of Celebrovascular Surgery in Xiangya Hospital, the deputy chairman in Neurosurgical Institute, CSU. Socially, he joins Chinese Neurosurgical Sociaty as committee member in Celebrovascular Group & Neurointerventional Group, and holds the post of the vice chairman of Hunan Neurosurgical Sociaty and Hunan Interventional Medical Sociaty. In 2014, Dr. Jiang went to the United States and had visited the John Hopkins University and University of Washington for half of a year.
Since graduation from Hunan Medical University in 1985, Jiang has never stopped working for neurosurgery in fields of clinic, education and scientific research. He is an expert on celebrovascular microsurgery and endovascular neurointerventional treatment, and the number of operations he has finished is more than 300 per year. The curative effect of surgeries is in the lead of China and Dr. Jiang is much welcomed by his patients. In addition, he has participanted a number of major projects and published more than 10 articles in scientific journals.
