Dr. Chunhui Liu is Professor in Mechanical/Materials Engineering. The research of Liu's Lab is mainly on "microstructure knowledge-guided advanced manufacturing (shape/performance synergy and intelligent process)": light component precision forming (microstructure evolution law during light alloy hot forming, modeling and coordinated shape/performance control, integrated material preparation and forming, equipment design; high performance light alloy manufacturing (light alloy thermo-mechanical processing, performance regulation, microstructure evolution process, modern physical metallurgy); micro/nano testing, analysis and processing (electron microscopy methods, techniques and theories, in-situ observation and analysis, ultra-high-precision electron beam processing); AI for manufacturing. Dr. Liu have published 110+ peer-reviewed papers in Progress in Materials Science、International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture、International Journal of Plasticity、Acta/Scripta materialia、Scientific Reports、Journal of Materials Processing Tech.、JMST、MSEA 、Materials & Design、International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing, etc. Dr. Liu have given 20+ invited talks in inter-/national conferences. Currently Liu's lab in a large leadership research team "Complex Manufacturing of light-weight components".
