Yanping Li, MD, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Central South University, Changsha, China and the Director of Reproductive Medicine Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Xiangya Hospital. She keeps doing clinical work, and specializes in the treatment of infertility and assisted reproductive technology. She is very influential in this field in China. She is a excellent doctor of reproductive medicine who has a solid professional foundation and rich clinical experience. Although she has mastery of professional knowledge including reproductive medicine, embryology, ultrasonography, genetics, male science and laboratory techniques,  she keeps learning the latest progress in reproductive medicine and doing research on forefront issues, the problems of tens of thousands of patients were solved by her. She has high attainments in the field of diagnosis and treatment of infertility, assisted reproductive technologies and gynecological microsurgery, and can independently to solve complex disease and great technical problems. Patients from all over the country even foreigners were coming for her. Her individual year outpatients reached 25000 person-time. More than 10000 cycles were performed by her, and the clinical pregnancy rate was almost 50%, which has reached the advanced level around the world. While doing heavy medical mission, She insists on clinical and basic research to solve the clinical problems. She presided over many research projects, including national and provincial projects. She has published more than 80 papers in the well-known publications, including 18 SCI papers. She educated 31 postgraduates, and 26 of them have graduated. She also educated 10 Ph D students, and 4 of them have graduated. The graduates trained by her have become the core members of many reproductive centers in China.
