Professor Li won Central South University Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2012 and the honor "excellent teacher of Western health personel training project of Health and Family Planning Commission" in 2014.

has trained 31 postgratuates,  8 PhD students, 1 international student, and has sent a PhD student to Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
