Personal Information

Yijun Li, Ph.D., is a Specially Appointed Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Central South University. He received his Ph.D. from Beihang University in July 2024 and completed his postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University in June 2026. His research interests include virtual reality, augmented reality, and human-computer interaction.

He has published more than ten papers in venues including TVCG, IEEE VR, IEEE ISMAR, and JCST, and holds two granted Chinese invention patents. He is the principal investigator of a Young Scientists Fund project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He received Special Funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and was selected for the Shuimu Tsinghua Scholar Program. His doctoral dissertation was selected for the High-Quality Doctoral Dissertation Incentive Program of the China Simulation Federation. He received the IEEE VR 2025 Best Paper Award and the IEEE ISMAR 2025 Best Paper Award. He serves as an Associate Program Chair for ICXR 2026 and an International Program Committee Member for IEEE VR 2027.
