Peng Chi, from Changsha, Hunan, Ph.D., associate professor, PhD and master tutor. In 2013, he graduated from the Ecological Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a doctorate degree. From 2012 to 2013, the Georgia Institute of Technology jointly trained doctoral students. From July 2013 to February 2017, he was an assistant researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Urban and Regional Ecology at the Eco-Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; from March 2017 to the present, he worked in the Department of Environmental Engineering, School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University.
He has been engaged in the research of regional soil pollution process and formation mechanism based on remote sensing and GIS technology, soil pollutant accumulation prediction model and probabilistic risk assessment model at different scales, soil-crop system heavy metal migration mechanism and control technology and other related research work. He has published more than 80 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, including more than 60 papers included in SCI, developed 2 soil pollutant accumulation process model software, 1 ArcGIS-based model software, and applied for 2 software copyrights.
