Personal Profile

Peisheng Wang, Associate Research Fellow.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science in 2012 from the Powder Metallurgy Research Institute, Central South University . Subsequently, he conducted research at the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany , Northwestern University, USA , and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA .

Currently, he is primarily engaged in the research and development of novel high-temperature-resistant metal matrix composites using material design methodologies based on the Materials Genome Initiative.

He has presided over or participated in more than 10 research projects, as well as other scientific research initiatives.

He has published over 50 papers in international journals and holds more than 10 authorized patents. He is an editorial board member for Scientific Reports. He serves as a reviewer for several prestigious international journals, including Materials Characterization, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Scientific Reports, Materials Chemistry and Physics, and CALPHAD.

(2) Thermodynamic calculations and material design of Co-based superalloys using machine learning and data-driven approaches
(3) Thermodynamic calculations and application research of rare-earth permanent magnets
(4) Phase diagram thermodynamics of silicon carbide fibers and their composites
