Dr. Yi Wang is a Professor in the School of Civil Engineering in Central South University, China. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Central South University, China and his Ph.D. degree from Hokkaido University, Japan. During Nov. 2016-Oct. 2018, he was a post-doctoral researcher in Guangdong University of Technology. After that, he was selected as a post-doctoral researcher at The University of Tokyo under the sponsorship of prestigious JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) fellowship.In the last 5 years, he has published more than 50 SCI journal papers, including 46 papers as the first/corresponding author, many of which were published in prestigious international journals such as Cement and Concrete Composites, Engineering Structures and Composite Structures.
His research interests include: durability of concrete structures; meso-scale modeling of concrete structures; hybrid strengthening of structures; Intelligent non-destructive detection, etc.
