Personal Information

I received the Ph.D. degree from the Central South University (CSU), Changsha, China, in 2011. I am currently a Professor and a PhD Supervisor with the School of Automation, CSU.

My current research interests include intelligent learning and optimization, with applications in automotive lightweight design, intelligent object detection and recognition, lithium-ion battery design, mobile edge computing, and intelligent system development.

I have been the principle investigator of five NSFC projects (including one Key Project). Until now, more than 70 papers have been published in IEEE Transactions. The publications have been cited by more than 13,000 times according to Google Scholar.

I have been awarded the Second Prize of the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the China Simulation Federation, and the Special Prize for Teaching Achievement of the China Simulation Federation. I have been selected for the Young Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, the Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholars, the globally Highly Cited Scholar in "Computer Science," the Marie Curie Fellowship (EU), the Hong Kong Scholars Program, and the Hunan Provincial Distinguished Young Scholars Fund.
