Sha Xiong received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in the School of Science from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2004 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2014. She worked as a Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University after graduation. Since July 2018, Dr. Xiong has been in School of Automation, Central South University as an Associate Professor. Her research focuses on optofluidics, lab-on-a-chip, biochemical sensor, microbial detection in drinking water, chemical monitoring in waste water. Dr Xiong has published over 20 conference papers and 18 journal papers in internationally reputable journals including Nature Communications, Science Advances, Lab on a Chip, etc.
