He has presided over 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, as well as national and provincial-level projects such as the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (Special Funding), the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (First-class Funding), the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Plan Project, the project of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Steel Processes and Products, and the fund of the Key Laboratory of Metallurgical Emission Reduction and Resource Recycling (Ministry of Education). In addition, he has participated in the Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation, the Newton Advanced Fellowship, and the trilateral government cooperation project among China, Japan, and South Korea.
