Haobin Chen is the Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Central South University, Changsha. He obtained a B.S. in Microelectronics and a Ph.D. in Physical Electronics from the Jilin University at Changchun in 2013 and 2018. After completing postdoctoral research in Professor Daniel T. Chiu’s laboratory at the University of Washington, Seattle, he started in the Spring of 2022 at the Central South University. He is the author of more than 50 publications and is the inventor on 5 issued patents. His research field of interest is activatable probes and nanomaterials for ultra-sensitive bioanalytical measurements and bio-optical applications.
