Qian Wei Dai, male, Eng.,Ph. D., Professor, supervisor of PhD, born on Jul., 1968, Lianyuan City, Hunan Province, China. Professor Dai served as a Committee member of the State Council Academic Degree Committee in Geological Resources and Geological Engineering, Syndic of China Geophysical Society, Chairman of Hunan Geophysical Society. Professor Dai’s expertise is in the area of electromagnetics (EM) method and its engineering applications. His research,especially, is involved with Engineering Geophysics, Environmental Geophysics and Hazards Geophysics. He has hosted some major research tasks such as Youth Science Fund of 863 Project, National Science-technology Support Plan Projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Doctoral Scientific Fund Project of the Ministry of Education of China. Up to now, professor Dai has charged with 10 key scientific and technological projects, and has won Ministry of Education Science-Technology Progress Prize, Nonferrous Metals Society Science-Technology Progress Prize. In addtion, he has authored more than 60 papers, and published 4 monographs.
