Qian Lin, PhD, professor, Department of Nutrition Science and Food Hygiene, Xiangya School of Public Health, Central South University.
Dr. Lin obtained her Master degree of Nutrition Science and Food Hygiene in 1998, and following obtaining Ph.D. in 2007 in Central South University. Her main research interests are twofold, including nutrition epidemiology (specifically nutrition improvement for rural women and children) and chronic disease prevention (focusing on the relationship between diet and chronic diseases). Dr. Lin holds major grants in these areas from the China Medical Board and Yale-China Association. Her ongoing Projects are focusing on "nutrition,feeding environments and health status in early life".
