Dr. Weirong Liu received his Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Institute of automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He currently works in School of Computer Science and Engineering at Central South University as a professor, master supervisor. From March 2016 to April 2017, he was selected by the government as a visiting scholar at the university of Alberta, Canada for one year. Professor Liu has conducted in-depth research on the field of Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, and has obtained scientific research achievements recognized by international counterparts. He has presided more than 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has obtained 7 authorized invention patents and 12 software Copyrights. He has published one textbook called wireless sensor network and Internet of Things, and published more than 70 papers included in SCI, EI. Representative academic papers were published in international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transaction On Vehicular Technology (TVT), IEEE Transaction On Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS), IEEE Transaction On Service Computing (TSC), IEEE Transaction On Industry Application （TIA）, IEEE Globecom and American Control Conference (ACC), World Congress of The International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC World Congress), IEEE Energy Conversion and Exhibition (IEEE ECCE), etc.
