LIU Yaochi has been engaged in the research of functional material chemistry, synthesis and application of functional polymers, environmental chemistry, etc. The leader of the sub-project of the National Science and Technology Major Project (2013ZX07504-001), the sub-project of the National Environmental Protection Public Welfare Industry Research Project (201309052) and Hunan Science and Technology Plan (2008FJ1009). More than 30 papers have been published in Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Colloide and Interface, Applied Surface Science, Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineering and other journals. Three monographs, including "Pollution and Control Technology in Mineral Processing Industry", have been compiled and 8 patents have been invented.
He presided 7 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation (51074192), Hunan Key Research and Development Program of Science and Technology (2016SK2069), the National Postdoctoral Fund (20090451107) and the Open Fund of the Agricultural Environment Key Laboratory of Jiangzhong Plain, Ministry of Agriculture. He presided 12 enterprise development (commission) projects.
