His team has been engaged in the study of medical entomology and forensic entomology for a long time. They combine traditional morphological classification methods of vector insects and hygiene pest (flies in Diptera) with barcoding technology, various genetic markers, multi-omics technical, CRSPER-Cas9 to solve issues such as species identification, population identification, phylogenetic, and phynotype adaptation. Resent year, they paied more attention on rapid detection of environmental samples for parasites and clinical screening and diagnostic techniques for parasitic diseases. Useing biohydrid based biosensor, we have inovated low-cost desktop device for rapid detection on blood of malary infected patients.
