    Description of Research Group:Professor Shen was employed in 2008 as doctoral tutor of Xiangya Hospital, Central South University for oncology.Until now, he has trained 4 post-doctors, 31 doctors, 26 postgraduates and 2 doctors within dual culture with the United States. Besides, he guided plenty of interdisciplinary resident physicians, refresher physicians, graduates and interns, including professional lectures, clinical skills training and medical record writing etc.His students work in pretty famous hospitals in China. And 2 of them are post-doctor in the USA, 1 of them was elected as "Top 100 youth " project of Hunan Province, 6 of them applied for projects funded by Youth National Natural Science Foundation, 1 of them becomes the president of a teaching hospital, 8 of them are director of the department and 22 are employed as leader or member of all kinds of committee for oncology.

Liangfang Shen, male, professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy director of oncology department, director of Oncology Research Laboratory and department of human resource in xiangya hospital, central south university. As a member of Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology of Chinese Medical Association, president-elect of Radiation therapy in Hunan Province Medical association, director of anti-cancer society of clinical oncology in Hunan Province, judge of Committee of Health Advanced Professional Title in Hunan Province and standing committee member of Human Resource and Management Committee of Chinese Hospital Association, Prof. Shen receives special government allowances and edited plenty of books like Practical and comprehensive anti-tumor treatments, Clinical oncologic diagnosis and therapeutics and Clinical oncology tutorial. Having been an oncologist for more than 20 years , professor Shen focused on early and precise diagnosis and treatments of malignant tumor and has accumulated abundant experience. He is an expert in radiation therapy and comprehensive therapy for head and neck neoplasms like nasopharyngeal carcinoma,oral carcinoma and other cancer like colonrectal carcinoma and cervical carcinoma. He firstly adopted total body irradiation, intensity-modulated radiotherapy, targeted therapy in Hunan province. Apart from outstanding clinical work, He also led 12 national and provincial research projects and published more than 50 papers, consisting of 13 SCI articles as the first author or corresponding author. The highest IF of a single paper is 6.23.
Besides, Professor Shen won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress in Hunan Province 2 times, the second prize and third prize of Medical Science in Hunan Province.Moreover, Prof. Shen was awarded by the honor of Top Ten Outstanding Young Job experts in Hunan Province and second-class merit.
