Abstract:In order to improve the power density and efficiency of power electronics transformer (PET), a PET and its control method based on energy injection DC-DC converter are proposed. The PET is based on Buck converter and operates in the mode of energy injection with symmetric topology.In this paper, the working modes and principles of the energy injection and free oscillation modes are analyzed in detail.The simulation results show that the DC-DC converter not only works in resonant soft switching state, but also can maintain the characteristic of constant current output when the load is switched dynamically. At the same time, the PET can realize bidirectional energy flow and improve the energy utilization efficiency.
