Matrix power electronic transformer for permanent magnet wind power system

Abstract:For the realization of the wind power generation system transformation and electrical isolation between input and output voltage grade, puts forward a kind of permanent magnet wind power converter based on matrix power electronic transformer, its input and output waveform quality, without energy storage components, high power density, high reliability, high efficiency and low cost advantages.This paper analyzes its topology structure and working principle, and put forward a control strategy for the topology: based on the control to realize the input side of the rectifier stage power factor correction, isolation between DC - DC converter are used to implement voltage grade and electrical isolation function, while inverter stage to complete the maximum wind power tracking control and power factor control network side.The simulation results show that the scheme is effective and suitable for high power permanent magnet direct drive wind power generation.
