Xu Xuanhua, male, Doctor of Management Science and Engineering, Second-level Professor of Central South University (Business School), Doctoral Tutor. One year as a visiting scholar in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computer Science, National University of Singapore, and one year as an international exchange scholar and guest researcher in the Department of Management Information Systems, School of Business, Seoul University, Korea. He is currently the director of the Professor Committee of Business School and the director of the Center for Research on Big Data and Intelligent Decision-making.
Research directions: large data group intelligent decision theory and method, information system and decision support system, emergency management and decision-making, risk analysis and management, complex engineering decision-making method and risk analysis, etc. The research fields include complex large group decision-making theory and methods, emergency decision-making methods for major emergencies based on large data analysis, decision support platform for complex large group, enterprise management information system and decision support system, emergency decision-making for special natural disasters and evolutionary analysis of social risks, and ecological environment risk analysis for large complex projects.
He presided over one key project of the National Social Science Foundation, three projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, one project of the National Science and Technology Support Plan and two research projects at provincial and ministerial levels. It has undertaken two projects of the National Innovation Research Group Science Foundation, two key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, one major international cooperation project of the National Natural Science Foundation, and more than 10 projects of the design and development of enterprise management information system and decision support system.

The research results have won one second prize for national scientific and technological progress, one first prize for provincial and ministerial level, four second prizes for provincial and ministerial level, four patents for inventions in China and three software copyrights.
