Zhang Guogang, Male, born in October 1962, M.D, is the Vice-president of Xiangya Hospital, Professor and doctoral advisor of Clinical Medicine, Department of cardiovascular disease, Xiangya Hospital and the director of Hypertension institute of Central South University. He is also the deputy director of cardiovascular clinical pharmacology of Central South University, Standing committee of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association , Member of Gerontology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, editor of Journal of Gerontology, Chinese Epidemiology Journal and Chinese cardiovascular disese Journal. He has been engaged in diagnosis, treatment , and related basic research of hypertension, Coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular diseases for a long time. He is supported by 863 projects , the National 973 Project , the National Natural Science Foundation of China , Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation and other national and provincial research projects as a project leader. He has won the second prize of Natural Science of Hunan once, national invention patents once and published 22 SCI Articles .
