Zheng Keren is a Professor at the School of Civil Engineering. He joined the School in 2005 after received his PhD in Material Science & Engineering from Southeast University. He obtained his MSc in Material Science & Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology in 1998. From August 1998 to March 2003 he was Engineer at Nanjing hydraulic Research Institute. During July, 2013 – July 2014, worked as a visiting scholar at Laboratory of Construction Materials (LMC), École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne EPFL.

Description of Research Group:The research activities of Cement-Study-Unity are focused on hydration kinetics , phase assemblage and micro-structure of cement-based materials, which are the fundamentals of concrete science and technology. We try to use our findings to improve properties and environmental efficiency of cement based materials.
