Native of Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. I am currently Director of the Intelligent Transportation Research Center and Associate Professor at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University. I also serve as a doctoral supervisor at the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, as well as a master’s supervisor at both the School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and the National Outstanding Engineer College.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University and my Ph.D. from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I previously worked as a Research Fellow at the GREAT Smart Cities Center, HKUST.

I have led a wide range of research grants, including the Youth Program and General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Program of Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China, and teaching reform projects.

I have published SCI papers in journals including Transportation Science and Transportation Research Part B/C/D/E. I have also presented papers at the 24th and 25th International Symposium on Transportation and Traffic Theory (ISTTT). I currently work as an anonymous reviewer for Transportation Research Part A/B/C/D/E, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and other academic journals.
