本人目前致力于以下几个领域的开拓性研究:
1.过渡晶相理论的研究。过渡晶相是2019年由本课题组首次从实验上观察到的一种介于晶相及非晶相的中间物相,在上世纪40-60年代有多位著名学者都从理论上推测这种状态的存在,其中包括MIT的晶体学著名学者B.E.Warren提出的“random layer lattice”,法国科学院的J. Mering 提出的“Disordered lamellar structure”等。著名晶体学家Alan Mackey认为在四维时空中可以构建不同维度的无序,准晶相是一种时间维度上的无序,那么在空间的三个维度上同样可以构建无序,过渡晶相材料晶格的特点是三维无序但二维有序,就是一种明确的在空间一个维度上无序的材料。经过进一步的拓展,本课题组首次在世界上发展出了一系列不同结构性质的过渡晶相材料,系统阐明了过渡晶相材料的结构,形成机制,表征手段和潜在应用为我们进一步认识晶相非晶相的边界,固体液体边界,固体材料结构等问题开辟了新的思路。
2.超薄二维材料的研究。过渡晶相材料在一个维度上具有非常弱的分子间作用力,因此极易剥离形成具有极高层厚均匀性的超薄二维材料。常规二维材料纳米片之间存在强的分子间作用力,易于发生聚集并恢复晶相。过渡晶相单层二维材料不存在强的分之间作用力,易于大规模制备,同时不会发生团聚,是一类可以实现大规模批量化制备的超薄二维材料。
3.基于表面固定的单原子催化剂的研究。基于表面金属有机化学,我们在基底材料表面通过有机化学的方法,将预组织的催化活性金属位接枝到基底材料表面,在较低的反应温度下就可以实现高效高性能单原子催化剂的制备,该策略制备的单原子催化剂单原子分散性好,金属负载量高,产率高,成本低,催化性能高。
陈殷副教授在超分子化学,杯芳烃,非均相催化,光电材料,表面化学等多个领域的有深入的研究;早期研究集中于超分子大环化合物及非均相催化剂的研究。主持了两项来自于SABIC的研究基金(合计20万美元)。作为主要完成人参与了一项KAUST 研究基金(150万美元)及两项国家自然科学基金(21072197, 36万;20875094,35万元) 的研究工作。相关研究工作论文发表在J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Science, ACS Catal.等国际权威期刊上。
