  • Profile

Lin, Yun (蔺云), Associate Professor, M.S. Supervisor. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical University (Supervisor: Prof. Wanqi Jie), Ph.D. degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Supervisor: Prof. Jinsong Huang), and Visiting Scholar from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has many years of research experience in perovskite solar cells, photodetectors, and CdTe nuclear radiation detectors, and is committed to the realization of new-type photovoltaic devices with high efficiency and stability. Her work has been published in Nature Communications, ACS Nano, ACS Energy Letters, Advanced Functional Materials, APL, JPCL and other journals as first author or corresponding author.

Full publication information is available in the [Journal publications] section. The featured results include (1) the use of two-dimensional layered perovskite materials to inhibit ion migration, which provides a new strategy to inhibit ion migration (ACS Energy Letters, 2, 1571 (2017), ACS Editors' Choice, ESI Highly Cited Paper); (2) the design of two-dimensional/three-dimensional perovskite solar cells, which adopts low-layer-number 2D perovskites on top of 3D perovskites to inhibit ion migration and significantly enhance the device thermal stability (J. Phys. Chem. Lett., 9, 654-658 (2018), ESI Highly Cited Paper); (3) the reveal of the crystal growth and phase separation behaviors of 2D layered perovskite thin films in different scales, as well as the efficient carrier collection efficiency and device working mechanism at the 2D/3D perovskite heterojunction interface (Nat. Commun., 10, 1-11 (2019), the first among the co-first-authors, ESI Highly Cited Paper); (4) the development of 2D perovskite thin films with out-of-plane orientation and their high-efficiency photovoltaic devices by using additive engineering and a hot-air assisted blade-coating method (Nat. Commun., 11, 1-9 (2020), the third among the co-first-authors, ESI Highly Cited Paper).

The graduation project "Research on Underwater Communication System Based on Photodetectors" under the supervision won the first prize of the 2023 undergraduate graduation project at the university level.
