Ke Yong is an associate professor and master tutou of the School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University. In May 2016, he received a PhD in Metallurgical Environmental Engineering from Central South University, under the tutelage of Academician Chai Liyuan and Professor Min Xiaobo. He is the core backbon of Chinese National Engineering Researh Center for Control and Treatment of Heavy Metal Pollution, the National Key Field Innovation Team for Heavy Metal Pollution Prevention and Control, the Yangtze River Scholars Innovation Team, the National Huang Danian-style teacher team. He is selected as experts of the National Science and Technology Expert Database, National Natural Science Foundation of China Review Expert Database, Hunan Science and Technology Award Review Expert Database Expert, China Postdoctoral Science Fund Review Expert Database Expert, Hunan Environmental Protection Industry Association Expert Database Expert, Non-Ferrous Metal Think Tank Certification Expert, Global Top 2% of Top Scientists—Science Impact Ranking List in 2019, etc. Additionally, he serve as the young editorial board member of Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China (Chinese/English Edition), the young editorial board member of Journal of Central South University (Natural Science Edition), etc. He maily engages in non-ferrous metallurgical clean production, mining and metallurgical heavy metal solid waste emission reduction and recycling. He presided over 1 National Key R&D Program of China, 1 National Natural Science Fund for Youth Fund, 1 Key Research and development Project of Hunan Province, etc. Moreover, he participates in more than 10 national projects. He published more than 40 SCI papers in international authoritative journals, with more than 1000 citations. He applied for more than 20 national invention patents and authorized more than 10. He published 1 academic monograph, and won 3 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award.
