刘元东,湖南邵阳人,博士,教育部和科技部评审专家、湖南省和广东省科技评审专家、长沙市科技评审专家,国际生物湿法冶金学会秘书、院士秘书、Frontiers in Bioscience-Landmark、Frontiers in Bioleaching等国际杂志审稿人。主持或参与国家级省部级等项目10多项,发表SCI论文60多篇,获得专利30多项,获得软件著作权20多项,获得省级等奖励荣誉3项。
