Associate Professor, and Doctoral supervisor of the Department of Geoinformatics, Central South University.
His research interests include ubiquitous geographic information sensing and intelligent computing, spatio-temporal trajectory data mining and analysis, and high-precision map collaborative sensing and updating. Since joining the CSU in 2020, he has presided over one subproject of the National Major research and Development Plan, two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, Hunan Natural Science Foundation project, Gaia Young Scholars Research Fund and other projects, and obtained 7 national invention patents and 2 software Copyrights. More than 20 SCI/SSCI/EI papers have been published in the Journals such as Acta Geodaetica et Cartographica Sinica, International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Cartography and Geographic Information Science, Computers Environment and Urban Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Sustainable Cities and Society, etc. He also won the second prize of surveying and mapping science and technology progress, the GIS "Emerging Award" of universities and other awards, guiding undergraduates to participate in the National College students Surveying and mapping Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition won two second prizes, GIS application skills competition excellent instructor.
Facing the national and industry needs, he and his research group focous on solving the key technical problems in the field of ubiquitous geographic information sensing and intelligent computing, as well as spatio-temporal trajectory data mining. The research group works closely with enterprises and public institutions such as Hunan Third Institute of Surveying and Mapping and Didi Chuxing. The proposed models and methods by his research group have been used in high-precision road network maps generation, multi-modal information fusion and old map update, supporting the rapid acquisition and dynamic update of high-precision navigation road network maps for intelligent transportation applications and geographical analysis.
He is a member of the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, and the reviewer of international journals such as IJGIS, TGIS, ESWA and Pattern Recognition, and guest editor of the Sustainabity journal.
