Personal Information
Dr Lei Yan received his PhD degree from Tongji University in 2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Civil Engineering at the Central South University. Dr Yan has made contributions to the development of theoretical and experimental methods focusing on identification of Aerodynamic Admittance Functions (AAFs) of long-span bridges considering the effect of oscillation, which contribute to both the academic significance and practical engineering in the aspect of buffeting of long-span bridges. Dr Yan has authored seven journal articles and five conference papers in the structural/wind engineering fields. His main research direction is bridge wind resistance, bridge health monitoring and CFD numerical simulation
