Profile

Prof．Menggang Yang is a doctoral supervisor，the Deputy Director of Bridge，Civil Engineering，Central South University (CSU).Yang obtained Bachelor’s degree of bridge engineering (Changsha Railway University, June, 1996), Master’s degree of Civil Engineering (CSU, June, 2001) and Doctor’s degree of Civil Engineering (CSU, December, 2004). He received postdoctoral training at Hunan University (2005-2009) and was a visiting scholar at the Louisiana state university (2012-2013)．Prof．Yang’s major research fields include Seismic and isolation of bridge，Geometric nonlinearity of long-span bridge structures etc．He has been hosting two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and transverse scientific research more than twenty times, taking part in four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. For his outstanding achievements，Prof．Yang has been awarded several Prizes and Achievement：one Second Class Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress of China，three First Class Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress of Hunan Province, one Second Class Prize for National Natural Science nominated by Ministry of Education of China, one Third Class Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress of Henan Province, MAO Yisheng Special Scientific Research Reward(2013)；one Monograph Publications，one Software Copyright；More than 30 first author articles with SCI included 5, EI included 18 and ISTP included 4．
